Many of them were put up by Peck & Associates, the construction company Edwin W. Peck Jr. opened in 1974. The family drew the buildings, built them, and then sold them.
Nobody has handed it to a stranger yet.
Edwin W. Peck Sr. & Hilda W. Peck
They built the first oceanfront condominium in this area and opened Peck Realty in 1969. Ed never retired. He was still in the office daily after handing the company on.
Sherry Peck Davidson & Terrell C. Davidson
The Pecks turned the company over to their daughter Sherry, who had been with Peck Realty since its founding, starting as a sales associate, and her husband Terry (1939 – 2017), Co-Developer on several of the projects.
Still family owned and operated
Sherry has run the company for around twenty-six years, working with her daughter Ashley Davidson Tefft, who has been here more than thirty-five, and Trish Miller, who keeps the books.

Peck Realty is still a family owned and operated company.
Every address on one strip of sand.
A few of the condominiums the family developed, in the order they were finished, from The Surfside Club in 1970 to Grand Coquina in 1997. The tallest of them is still Peck Plaza, finished in 1974.
