| Phyllis
and her husband, Tom, moved to Daytona in 1974. She attended DBCC for Hotel/Motel
Auditing and then attended Bert Rogers School of Real Estate. She went
to work for Peck Realty as Comptroller in 1981 and is responsible for all
bookkeeping and banking records. In addition to these responsibilities,
she obtained her real estate license in 1988 and became an active sales
associate. Prior to joining Peck Realty 17 years ago, she worked for Price
Waterhouse in St. Louis in the steno pool; Valle Corporation as Sales Secretary
and A.G. Edwards & Son as Executive Secretary to the VP in Sales Analyst
Department, also in St. Louis.
During
her years with the Peck company, she has received the Top Brass Lifetime
Million Dollar Sales Circle award, Million Dollar Sales Achiever SOLD Award
and Million Dollar Sales Circle award for 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993,
1997, 1999, 2001 and 2002. Most recently, Phyllis earned 2003 3rd
Place Salesperson of the Year award. Other awards include - Tennis:
Greater Volusia Tennis League Champions, Women's 3.5 & Mixed Doubles,
U.S.T.A. Volusia Mixed Doubles Champions advancing to Florida State Sectionals;
Arts & Crafts - Gingerbread Houses - 1st Place 4 years in a row sponsored
by Daytona Junior Service League, Channel 2 News & Ocean Center; Golf

Phyllis
and Tom were married under "The Arch" in St. Louis. They have 5 children
and 12 grandchildren, who are scattered over the world - Virginia, Tennessee,
Arkansas, Daytona and United Arab Emerates (Persian Gulf). Her main interests
are "People", of course. "If I see someone without a smile, I will gladly
give them one of mine!" |
